Educators can now spark environmental learning across the school year with the Junior Landcare Calendar, a free downloadable resource designed to help plan meaningful classroom and outdoor activities around Australia’s key environmental dates.
The calendar links directly to curriculum-friendly Junior Landcare learning activities, resources and downloadable activity sheets. This makes it easier than ever to design projects that build environmental awareness and support students’ inherent curiosity about nature, all while linking to learning outcomes.
Whether you’re designing a wildlife habitat for Schools Tree Day, following the Native Bee Maze for World Bee Day, or exploring First Nations seasons and creating a yarning circle for NAIDOC Week, the calendar provides useful prompts and project ideas to guide your planning throughout the year. Here’s a snapshot for Term 1 and Term 2.
