More than 1,100 schools and early learning centres (ELC) across Australia will receive funds to help build and develop hands-on environmental learning projects through this year’s Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants program.
The latest round of the Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants program has officially opened, offering primary schools and early learning centres across Australia the chance to share in $1 million to help grow the next generation of environmental champions.
Landcare Australia and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning are partnering for a fourth year for the 2021 Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants.
Sixteen primary schools in regional areas of Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales are recipients of the first ever Bushmans Junior Landcare Grants program. Bushmans Tanks is funding these grants in an effort to increase awareness about rainwater harvesting and to support children in playing an active role in creating a sustainable future.
In March 2019, we announced that 538 primary schools and early learning centres throughout Australia had received our first ever Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants.
