Calling all budding nature lovers!!

Costa Georgiadis is hosting a Just for Kids Facebook LIVE event on Saturday 15 August at 10am AEST – and he wants to chat with you.

With the environment facing increasing pressure from the impacts of climate change and habitat destruction, the Junior Landcare ambassador wants young people to share their ideas on how to protect and restore our natural world.

On Saturday 15 August at 10am AEST, Costa is inviting kids to log on at facebook.com.au/landcareaustralia and chat with him about how they can be empowered to help protect the environment at home or school by checking out Junior Landcare’s Learning Centre.

“I want to hear their questions, I want to hear their ideas and I want to know their biggest concerns and hopes for the environment in the future,” the popular TV star explained.

“This is the generation who can and will make a big difference in the fight to protect our planet and I want to give these young minds the voice and platform to share their opinions.

“After the incredible images we received from kids across the country during Junior Landcare’s What’s in Your Backyard photo competition, it’s clear that young people are more engaged and switched on with what’s happening in their environment more than ever.

“I wants these kids to feel empowered about their ideas and learn how they can encourage their parents, families and teachers to help them take action.”
