Does your school or youth group grow fruit and vegetables in its garden? Be on the lookout for Queensland fruit fly during these warmer months!
Queensland fruit fly is a terrible garden pest, attacking fruit and vegetable and making them inedible. They are particularly attracted to tomatoes, capsicums, eggplants, apples, citrus and stonefruit.
Agriculture Victoria has created a short video on what to look for when monitoring for Queensland fruit fly and how to safely manage these pesky critters.
